New to Life Church?

Visiting a church for the first time can be a bit unsettling, simply because you do not know what to expect. We want your visit to Life Church to be as pleasant an experience as possible. With that in mind, we have listed answers to the most common questions from guests to Life Church.

When are the weekly Worship Services?

We have two identical worship services every Sunday morning at 9:15am and 11:00am. Our children (infants through 5th grade) meet during both worship service times for their own age-appropriate activities, youth (6th through 12th grades) meet during the 11:00am service.

Where do I go when do I get there?

On Sunday mornings you can park in specially designated guest parking near the entrance to the building. As you enter the building, you will find greeters and Welcome Center where friendly people will be there to answer any questions you may have or to direct you wherever you need to go. Of course, any of our people will be happy to help you with any questions you have.

What is the worship service like?

We have upbeat and heartfelt worship that will help you experience God. We also present relevant and biblical messages in a real and authentic way that will help you connect your faith with everyday life. We promote a relaxed and casual atmosphere where both believers and seekers are welcomed just as they are - no matter their background. We are especially open to "unchurched" or "dechurched" people who have for whatever reason never gone to church or who have dropped out along the way. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where all people can come and feel welcomed.

What about my kids?

Children

We believe your kids will love it here! For smaller children, we have a well-equipped nursery, staffed by caring parents like yourself to care for your children while you worship. We also have a Comfort Room in the back of the worship center that parents of infants can use. For our older children, we have activities where they will learn through songs, crafts, Bible stories, games, and group interaction. At the Welcome Center just inside the main entrance, you can utilize our Child Check-In to help you get your infants through 5th graders directed to their age-appropriate areas. You and your child will be given security badges and a number that will be used on the overhead screen in the worship service if your child needs you. Your parent security badge will need to be used when you pick up your child.

(All children’s ministry volunteers have had background checks.)

Youth

Middle School and High School Students (6th-12th grades) meet on Sunday mornings during the 11:00am worship service. Middle school students can go directly to their room without being checked in at the Child Check-In at the Welcome Center.

Both Middle School and High School Students (6th-12th grades) also have a special mid-week program Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:15pm called Five12 for their own time of fun, worship and teaching.

What should I wear?

Simply, whatever you like. You will see that most are casually dressed. Be comfortable. Come as you are!

What kind of people will be there?

Though we have many young families, we have a real cross-section of people of various ages and cultural backgrounds from the surrounding communities. We are all pretty ordinary people who face the daily struggles of life. No perfect people allowed! Only people who desire to grow.

Will I be put on the spot?

No. You can be as anonymous as you would like. Our greeters will greet you as you come in and people will welcome you, but no one will single you out or ask you to say anything. If you want to communicate with us, you can fill out a Communication Page or speak to someone at the Welcome Center. We want you to be relaxed.

What kind of church are you?

We are a non-denominational Bible-based church. For more information, see What We Believe.
