Lakeline Church is a young church in the northwest Austin area. Brian and Helen Lightsey moved to the Northwest Austin region to start a church that would reach the numerous unchurched people living in the area.

They wanted to start a different kind of church where people could be accepted just as they are - whether they had grown up in church or had no church experience at all. The goal was to create a relevant and different kind of church for those on the journey of seeking God and understanding life.

After meeting people in the community, on Sunday evening, October 13, 1996, Lakeline Church was conceived when 18 adults met in a home in Cedar Park. Four months later, on February 23, 1997, Lakeline Church was born when the first worship service was held in the movie theater in Lakeline Mall.

Today, hundreds call Lakeline their home. Services are held 10:30am Sundays at Leander High School, 3301 S. Bagdad Road in Leander.
